What is it? HTML is an acronym for Hyper-Text Markup Language.

It may sound complicated - but it's not. Basically it is series of tags used to format plain text files for the internet. Browsers use HTML tags to decide how to display or treat the contents of an HTML document. Attributes like bolding, color and size are all controlled by HTML tags and affect the look and feel of a document.

The following is a brief overview of some of the HTML tags you may find useful in developing your community site. All or most HTML tags work the same, regardless of browser type. If you can't find a tag listed here, or if you would like to know more - check out the Community HTML Resource page.

Welcome to the Multicultural Choir!

The Multicultural Choir members are made up of adults from many different cultures. Our current mixed choir consists of members with an ethnic heritage representing over 23 countries. Formed and incorporated in 1979, the Multicultural Choir now has a strong membership of close to 50 singers.

The choir performs music from countries around the world - - some songs are even sung in their national language! This season, for example, selections will be performed in English, French, German and Spanish.

Our choral season runs from September to December and again from January to May with weekly evening rehearsals held Tuesdays from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Central Memorial High School.

No auditions necessary!

If you are 18 years of age or older and want information about joining, or would like the Multicultural Choir to perform at your event, please contact us.
